Interesting that the 2004 Essen Lane & Perkins Road expansion cited the live oaks along Perkins Road as unique features, a business development draw. Subsequently Perkins Rowe was installed. The 'preserved' large live oak beside the Cane's built across from Perkins Rowe subsequently become diseased (probably stressed and/or insufficient allowance for the root structure) and had to be removed.
