Although our Metro Councilman has stated, rightly, the Staring Road Widening (between Perkins Road and Highland Road) is not necessary to improve traffic flow, he is the current owner of George's, located at the corner of Staring Lane and Highland Road. As such, his business would be expected to improve as a result of the Staring Road Project.
Local neighborhoods need to see him as a more vocal advocate for our interests. We do not need a four lane highway through our neighborhoods! Stop it now before it is too late.
